X-Men: First Class (PG-13, Action, Sci-Fi) A-
This film revolves around two men with special powers in a world were some people are developing special abilities such as flying. One of the men Professor Xavier has the ability to read people’s minds while the other has the ability to attract steel. The story revolves around the Cuban Missile Crisis. The usual theme in the X-Men movies about some mutants wanting to control or fight non-mutants is present in this film as well. It’s an issue I would like to see resolved but since this is a prequel and it’s a central theme to the series it was still very entertaining to watch. The level of suspense in this film was very surprising for me since just about all the characters are very likable.
