Mike Flaherty (Paul Giamatti) is an attorney at a small town. Unfortunately his business is doing very poorly since he has a very small number of minor cases. He doesn’t want to let his wife know how dire their financial situation is. To earn some additional income he decides to become the court appointed guardian to Leo. Not long after they discover that Leo has a grandson. Mike suddenly discovers he has more to manage than what he initially expected. Paul Giamatti was excellent in this film, itm ay be his best role yet.
