State of Play (PG-13, Drama, Action) F+

A reporter (Russell Crowe) at a major newspaper investigates the death of a Congressional aid. At the same time the congressman she was working for (Ben Affleck) is leading an investigation against a defense contractor. The plot in this movie would have worked as a half hour episode but at two hours it moves extremely slowly. It was so boring I kept falling asleep during the first half of the movie.
