Soul Men (R, Comedy) C+

Two former soul singers get a chance to be famous again when they are asked to perform at a memorial concert. Before attending the concert they have to solve some issues they have with each other while driving across the country to New York City. The story in the film was actually pretty good; the movie is ruined by some circumstances that don’t really contribute to the overall plot and by a foolish character. It would have been much better if they had toned down some of the comedy.
