Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows (PG-13, Action, Thriller) B+

Robert Downey Jr. reprises his role as Sherlock Holmes with Jude Law also reprising his role as Dr. Watson.  In this sequel Holmes attempts to stop a series of bombs that are being set throughout the city.  It is soon revealed to us that Professor Moriarty is behind the attacks.  As in the first film the relationship between Holmes and Watson was a lot of fun to watch.  There isn’t any sorcery or magic in this film and the number of scenes were Holmes pre plans the fight blow by blow are more limited and occur at the right time.  For example there are some parts were he has to just jump into the fight and doesn’t have time to do a whole analysis on how he is going to proceed.
