The Road (R, Drama, Terror, Sci-Fi) A-

For unknown reasons the whole world is burning and civilization has come to an end. A father (Viggo Mortensen) does his best to survive in this new world and protect his son from its new dangers. This is a very grim movie and it has one of the most disturbing scenes I’ve ever seen in a film. It does an excellent job drawing you into the characters’ despair and it gets very interesting when the main character blurs the line between being the good or bad guys.
