Rise of the Planet of the Apes (PG-13, Action, Sci-Fi) B+

A scientist (James Franco) is trying to develop a drug that will cure Alzheimer’s Diseases.  While testing on chimpanzees he discovers that the drug can makes them as smart or smarter than humans.  As the spoiler title of the movie indicates this leads to serious consequences for the human race.  The film develops along very nicely and will definitely satisfy any fans of the original film series.  The special effects involving the chimps facial expressions were amazing; they seemed very real.
