An important executive (Sandra Bullock) at a major
publishing company discovers that she is about to be deported out of the
country. She then decides to force her assistant (Ryan Reynolds) to marry
her so that she can stay in the country. When they go to his home town to
spend a long weekend things get a little complicated when they pretend to
be in love.
