Please Give (R, Drama) B+

Kate (Catherine Keener) runs an antique business with her husband Alex (Oliver Platt). They buy classic quality furniture from old people who have died and sell it for a profit. Kate likes to help people and seems to have some guilt about her business and being financially stable when there are people in great financial need. Their neighbor is an old lady who has two granddaughters that practically live with her to help her out. They have their own family issues to deal with which are a big part of this movie. While there isn’t much of a plot in this movie it was still very entertaining to watch and in a certain way we see some characters grow emotionally.
