Percy Jackson & The Lightning Thief
(PG-13, Adventure) B-
Percy learns very suddenly that his Dad is Poseidon
and that he has special powers that revolve around water. In order to save
the Earth it’s up to Percy to find the lightning thief and bring it
back to Zeus. Even though this movie is aimed at kids it could have been
a little more serious in many instances. Percy seems to react with little
surprise at every wild situation that happens to him. The story was good
though and the special effects were fun to watch.
