Marcus and Lucia are a recently engaged couple
that are about to give their parents the news. The thing is that Lucia is
hispanic and Marcus is black so overcoming their fathers’ prejudices
becomes a big challenge. The movie seems to be too cautious when it’s
dealing with the racial issues since their parents never really admit they
are prejudiced; it’s just alluded too. At first the movie was funny
but it gets tiresome and predictable very quickly.
