One Night with the King (PG,
Drama) C+
This movie is based on the “Book of Esther”
from the Old Testament were a woman is drafted into becoming the King’s
wife and gets involved in an elaborate plot. I thought it took too long
for Esther to become the King’s wife and that the plot was not very
clearly laid out, it seemed too convoluted at times. The sets and costumes
were excellent; it’s too bad they didn’t put the same amount
of money and effort into the script.
