Mr. Magorium’s Magic Emporium (G,

Dustin Hoffman plays the part of Mr. Magorium,
the owner of a magical toy store that sells magical toys. He needs to retire
away from the store so he tries to pass it on to his apprentice played by
Natalie Portman. Dustin Hoffman’s portrayal of the character is so
bad that it makes him 10 times more obnoxious than Jar Jar from the Star
Wars movies. I couldn’t wait for him to leave the store but he stays
around for most of the movie. This is one of those movies that try so hard
to be sentimental that it just fails completely.
