Milk (R, Drama) B+

Sean Penn plays Harvey Milk, the first openly gay candidate elected to office. The movie shows the rise of his political career and how he affected the city of San Francisco and the rest of the country. The only drawback is that a pivotal character is given less attention than other characters that don’t turn out to be as important.
