Men who Stare at Goats (R, Comedy) D-

A reporter (Ewan McGregor) from a small town learns about a special army program were soldiers tried to develop and use psychic abilities in combat. When he visits the Middle East he happens to meet Lyn (George Clooney) who was one of the best psychic soldiers in the program. They then venture into Iraq where they get in all sort of trouble despite Lynn’s belief in his psychic powers. This is one of those movies that depends on making one joke or a satirical point and then expects it to be funny for 90 minutes. I didn’t think the joke was funny in the first place so this was a really boring movie to watch. The actors are good though.
