Limitless (PG-13, Action, Thirller) B-

Eddie Morra (Bradley Cooper) is a writer who hasn’t been able to even write a single page for his book. He comes across a special pill that makes him incredibly smart. The recurring problem during the movie is that the pill is in limited supply since it’s not available legally. In addition some people are after him to get the few pills he has. This movie takes too long to set up the premise; it spends too much time showing how poor Eddie’s life is. The film also uses too many unnecessary special effects such as letters falling off the ceiling once Eddie gets his bright ideas thanks to the pill.
