Leap Year (PG, Romantic Comedy) C-

When Anna (Amy Adams) is disappointed about her boyfriend not proposing to her she decides to follow him to a conference in Ireland where on February 29th women can propose to their boyfriend. On her way there she gets sidetracked to a small village where she gets a local man to drive her to Dublin. On the way there just about everything goes wrong which happens to give them an opportunity to get to know each other. There was something missing in Amy Adam’s performance this time, she wasn’t her usual spunky self and the minor characters in the movie were given too large a role. They also keep repeating the same joke about having bad luck.
