Law Abiding Citizen (R, Action, Drama) C+

When Clyde Shelton (Gerard Butler) family is murdered by a couple of men that invade his house he hopes they will get a long harsh prison sentence. Unfortunately the District Attorney (Jamie Foxx) decides it’s better to get a guaranteed conviction even though the sentence will be a lot milder. Displeased with this fact Clyde decides to get his revenge on not only the criminals but on the justice system that he feels failed him. When this movie starts out you feel some sympathy for Clyde but as it progresses that sympathy fades away and it then turns out that none of the characters in this film are very likable. The movie tries to maintain interests by gradually building up Clyde as some super criminal mastermind.
