This movie shows the last years of Tolstoy’s
(Christopher Plummer) life. His wife (Helen Mirren) is fighting his possible
decision to state in his will that all his works would become part of the
public domain. The film and the the actors do an excellent job portraying
what their life was like and it has been balanced perfectly with the right
amount of tension and happy moments.
