The Last Song (PG, Drama, Romance) C+

In this movie based on a novel by Nicholas Sparks Ronnie is a recent high school graduate (Miley Cyrus) that has been sent to her father’s home for the summer. When she gets there she is really mad at her Dad (Greg Kinnear) and doesn’t get along with him. But then she meets someone that makes her feel much better. There were some other minor plot lines to help add some material to the movie. The film doesn’t’ do a very good job at making you connect with the characters, it felt too mechanically pieced together.
