Journey to the Center of the Earth (PG,
Action, Fantasy) C-
A Scientist (Brendan Fraser) his nephew and a guide
manage to find their way to the center of the Earth where there is a world
full of different creatures. Their main goal is to find a way back to the
top of the world. The problem with the movie is that none of the characters
seem to take all their impending danger to seriously, everything is a big
joke. The movie’s pacing isn’t too good either, very slow at
first then very fast. There is a sub plot involving the boy’s dad
that helps make the movie a little better.
