The Invention of Lying (PG,
Comedy) C+
In a world were nobody can lie and everybody believes
what anybody says one man (Ricky Gervais) discovers that he can lie. He
uses his new ability to get him out of financial trouble and maybe help
him get the girl (Jennifer Garner) that he wants. The movie wasn’t
very funny and the premise only goes so far to make the story interesting.
At first the film is entertaining but after an hour you’ll get the
feeling the story is struggling to keep you interested.
