The Informant (R, Drama, Comedy) F

This film is loosely based on the true story of Marc Whitacre, a major executive at ADM that became an informant for the FBI. The matter being investigated by the FBI was incredibly dull even though it was an important one. Matt Damon wasn’t at his best playing Witacre in a comedic manner. To be fair he couldn’t do much with the poor screenplay and bad humor. During the entire movie we hear Witacre come up with random thought that don’t make sense and don’t seem like something a smart executive would come up with. This film shows that not every true story is worth putting on the big screen even if it has some comedic spin to it.
