I Don’t Know How She Does It (PG-13, Comedy, Drama) C

Kate (Sarah Jessica Parker) has a hectic job at an investment firm that keeps her away from home more than she would like.  At the same time she is trying to be part of all of her young children’s activities.  We are given too many examples of her missing an activity with her children, feeling guilty about it and then apologizing.  The film makes you experience her daughter’s dissatisfaction by making you go through this many times.  There are numerous scenes were the characters are talking directly to the camera, as if it were a documentary, they weren’t too much fun to watch.  I prefer a more traditional movie format.
