The Ides of March (R, Political Drama) C

A young campaign manager (Ryan Gosling) is working to get a governor (George Clooney) elected President of the United States.  They are locked in a heated race to win the Democratic primary.  It takes too long for this movie to develop, even though it has an all start cast that includes Philip Seymour-Hoffman, Paul Giamatti and Marisa Tomei.  After an hour I was glad I didn’t walk out on this film since it gets much better.  George Clooney’s character wasn’t in the film as much as I had expected.
