Hop (PG. Comedy) D+

E.B. is the Easter’s Bunny teenage son. His dad expects him to take over as the Easter Bunny to deliver eggs all over the world. E.B. is more interested in playing the drums and forming his own band so he escapes to Hollywood. Once there he meets Fred who is also trying to find his own career path. The main plot in this film is that a group of commando bunnies want to bring E.B. back to Easter Island. There’s also a development involving the birds that help the rabbits. This movie wasn’t funny and it felt drawn out, E.B. isn’t a likable character since he is very selfish for most of the movie. Russell Brand should have disguised his voice for the role of E.B. since it made it harder to believe that a rabbit was talking since Russell’s voice is so unique and well known.
