Greenberg (R, Drama) B+

After being released from a mental institution in New York City Roger (Ben Stiller) comes to his brother’s house in California. He arrives the day after his brother has left on a month long family vacation. Roger was an extremely interesting and entertaining character to watch. The movie shows how he relates to his friend and how he approaches a relationship with his brother’s assistant. He only drawback in this movie is that Roger’s main love interest does not get as much attention about her life. The movie does a better job at explaining or showing the life concerns of Roger’s best friend than it does of Roger’s possible girlfriend. It may because she is much younger than Roger and the movie doesn’t seem to think younger people have to much history to explain what they want or expect out of life.
