This movie is based on the second book of the Millennium Trilogy by the Swedish author Stieg Larsson. In this story the main character, Lisbeth Salander has been framed for a series of murders. She then sets out to find the real killers and try to find out why someone would want to frame her. At the same time her friend Mikael Blomkvist is working independently to help clear her name. The fact that two different characters have their own independent and unique investigations makes this an excellent story. It’s like getting two movies for the price of one.
