The Fourth Kind (R, Horror) B-

This film claims to be based on actual facts and actual footage of the psychologist Dr. Abigail Tyler interviewing various patients. Even though none of the patients know each other they all list the same experiences, such as seeing an Owl staring at them all night. When the movie starts Milla Jovovich (who plays Dr. Tyler) warns that the film has some disturbing scenes and that actual footage will be shown. The film keeps alternating between the “actual footage” scenes and the movie scenes; this breaks the fluidity of the film. The “actual footage” scenes didn’t seem real to me. If you can accept that they are really showing actual footage you’ll really be entertained by this film.
