Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close (PG-13, Drama) A-

Thomas is boy who is very close to his father (Tom Hanks) has to adjust to life without him after “people who didn’t even know him” murder him on September 11th 2001.  When Thomas accidentally finds a key in a vase he is convinced it was another expedition his Dad had planned to assign him.  When his Dad was alive he would always send Thomas on expeditions to find certain things.  Thomas then spends entire days meeting people all over the city while at the same time hiding what he is doing from his mom (Sandra Bullock).  Even though this film was very sad it had its uplifting moments as well.
