The Expendables (R, Action) B-

Barney Ross (Sylvester Stallone) leads a team of mercenaries. The best scene in the film which also sets up the plot involves him being approached by Mr. Church (Bruce Willis) and being offered a job to take out a corrupt general and a drug lord in some fictional country. At the same time Mr. Church is offering the job to Trench who is played by Arnold Schwarzenegger. The exchange between the three of them was excellent, but one great scene is not enough to carry an entire film. Jason Statham, Jet Li and Dolph Lundgren also appear in this film. Mickey Rourke plays the part of the wise advisor. The scenes with the plane and shootings were good, the fight scenes could have been better. It seemed like there was too much wrestling type fighting instead of the usual punching. There were too many characters in this film with not enough to do or contribute to the film except for shooting another gun.
