Drive Angry 3D (R, Action) C-

Milton (Nicolas Cage) has been in Hell for many years. When he sees what a cult leader has done to his daughter he decides to break out (from Hell) to get revenge and save his baby granddaughter from the cult. At the same time he’s being chased by an agent (William Fichtner) from Hell that wants to bring him back. This movie has some cool muscle cars, a beautiful girl (Amber Heard) but it didn’t make too much sense even if you accept the premise. For instance, if he can see everything from Hell why does it take him so long to find the cult leader? I also didn’t like that this movie was only shown in 3D, there was no 2D option. For the added ticket price the story should have been better and while it did have more actual 3D effects (were it looks like stuff is coming out of the screen at you) than usual it still wasn’t worth seeing in 3D. So it’s best to save this one for DVD and see it in 2D at home.
