The Departed (R, Drama) A-

Jack Nicholson plays a mob boss in Boston who plants a spy (Matt Damon) into the police force while Leonardo DiCaprio is an undercover policeman in the mob. The only gripe I have with this movie is that the police force seems to have been dumbed down in order for the rest of the movie to work. The acting, writing and directing in this movie were excellent, it didn’t feel like it was a 2 and a half hour long movie at all.
