A Dangerous Method (R, Drama) F

When I went to see this film I thought it would be entirely about the method used to cure a young woman named Sabina Spielrein (Keira Knightley). A psychologist named Carl Jung (Michael Fassbender) who is a student of Sigmund Freud (Viggo Mortensen) sets out to cure Sabina.  The film starts out in the year 1901 in Switzerland and spans about 10 years of material that is presented very quickly.  I thought the film would be about the method used to cure Sabina but it’s really about the relationship between these three people.  I was struggling to stay awake even though I saw this movie at 4:00pm.  The fact that it’s based on a true story was the only thing that kept me from walking out on it.
