Cyrus (R, Drama, Comedy) A-

A man (John C. Reilly) is feeling really down about being single. When he attends a party and hits it off with Molly (Marisa Tomei) it seems like his life has taken a change for the better. But he then discovers that she has a very close relationship with her son (Jonah Hill) who she happens to treat more like a boyfriend. John must then figure out where he fits in all this and if he wants to; or perhaps be allowed to be a part of their life. This movie keeps you interested the entire time with a fresh original story and excellent acting. While you might not break out laughing in this film the humoristic situations are great at developing the plot in the movie. The only criticism I would have of this film is that many scenes were shot with a home video camera feel, I like the camera work to be less conspicuous.
