The Crazies (R, Thriller, Horror) B+

A sheriff (Timothy Oliphant) in a small town slowly discovers that some people are acting strangely and becoming violent. It turns out they have some type of rabies like infection. There’s a lot more to the story which is not just about running away from monsters and shooting them up. There were a lot suspenseful moments in this film and it has a good accounting about the limitations the characters face in their struggle to survive.
