The Counterfeiters (R, Drama) A-

Based on a true story the movie shows the arrest of Salomon Sorowitsch by the Nazis just before the start of World War II. As an expert counterfeiter he is soon set up to lead a group of other counterfeiters to produce counterfeit currency for the Nazis. The film does an excellent job showing Sorowitsch’s ordeal while he was in the concentration camp and the interaction between the counterfeiter’s and their captors.
