The Conspirator (PG-13, Drama) B

Marry Surratt owned a boarding house were John Wilkes Booth and many others conspired in the assassination plot against President Lincoln. She claims to be innocent but nobody believes her. A young lawyer who also doubts her innocence is forced to defend her. He soon discovers that the proceedings are stacked against his client and tries to seek a fair trial. This was an interesting story, unfortunately it keeps driving the same theme over and over which makes it too drawn out. It’s still worth seeing as the story is an interesting one and it had some great acting.
