Charlie (Zac Effron) is set to receive a scholarship
for college and seems to have the perfect life. When he looses his little
brother to a car accident he gains the ability to see his brother’s
spirit. He is then able to keep a promise to play ball with him every afternoon.
When Charlie meets a local girl that he would like to date he has to decide
how he is also going to keep seeing his brother every day. I thought this
was going to be a very mushy movie but it turned out to be more about Charlie’s
relationship with his brother. It looks at how we deal with death and provides
a realistic though brief look at the grieving process.
