Carnage (R, Drama) A-

While the opening credits are playing we get to see two boys fight each other with one gaining the upper hand.  We are then taken to an apartment were we see two sets of parents discussing what happened.  As one set of parents is getting ready to leave things get heated up.  It’s clear there is a lot of tension between them and that most of them are trying to maintain a certain level of civility.  The cast includes Kate Winslet and Christop Waltz as the parents of the child that gained the upper hand while Jodie Foster and John C. Reilly are the parents of the “victim”.  The excellent performance by all these actors was perfect to convey the underlying tension between the set of parents.
