Brooklyn’s Finest (R, Police Drama) D+

This movie is about three police officers in Brooklyn that aren’t very happy with their job or lives. Ethan Hawke plays the part of a cop that is struggling to get enough money to buy a new home so he steals money from drug gangs. Don Cheadle is an undercover agent that wants out of his present assignment. Richard Gere is a street cop with only seven days left to retire, he is tired of his job and has thoughts of suicide. For almost ¾ of the movie the characters are just complaining and dealing with their problems. They each have their individual sub plots which weren’t too interesting.
