Blue Valentine (R, Drama) C+

Dean (Ryan Gossling) and Cindy (Michelle Williams) are married but seem to have fallen out of being in love. Actually since the beginning of the movie we see that Cindy is the one who seems to have lost interest in Dean. About half of the movie keeps switching back to how they first met. It’s literally a movie about falling in love and out of love. The acting was excellent but the story regarding how they first met was too drawn out and felt as if someone had put some mismatched pieces together. Instead of concentrating so much on how they fell in love the movie could have done a better job at showing how they fell out of love.
