Australia (PG-13, Drama, Action, Family) B+

Set in Australia before WWII a wealthy English woman (Nicole Kidman) travels to Australia to take over a ranch that is not doing well financially. She hires a cattle driver (Hugh Jackman) to help her manage the ranch. A big part of the film shows the relationship of the aboriginal people with the white population in Australia through the eyes of a young boy who also does a lot of the narration for the film. At first the movie was a bit too campy but the story eventually draws you in to maintain you very interested in the film despite the fact that it is almost three hours long.
