Atlas Shrugged: Part 1 (PG-13, Drama) B+

Set in the year 2016 the United States is in the midst of a sever economic depression. A gallon of gasoline is in the $30.00 range and as a result the commercial aviation industry has collapsed. Railways are now the main way to transport people and goods. Dagny Taggart is trying to keep her railway company afloat but has to deal with cumbersome regulations from the government such as not having a competitive advantage over other railway companies. At the same time the most prominent business leaders are disappearing. This movie provided an original story and a perspective that is not usually seen in films. It had a bit of a TV movie feel though.
