The Art of Getting By (PG-13, Drama) D

George is in high school and depressed with life in general.  At the beginning of the movie he gives us all these statistics on how many people die every day all over the world.  As a result he feels there is no point to life and refuses to do any work at school, he is also a bit of a social outcast.  Despite this, he still manages to get Sally interested in him, which seems like something that would only happen in a movie.  Except for being threatened with expulsion from school George seems to get away with his bad attitude, which didn’t seem too realistic either.
