American Gangster (R, Drama, Crime) A

This is the true life story of Frank Lucas (Denzel Washington) a gangster in Harlem during the late 60’s and the police detective (Russell Crowe) who went after him. The movie shows how Frank Lucas built up his organization and it provides insightful look into all the other forces that helped him built up his organization. The story, acting and screenplay were all excellent.
