Amelia (PG, Drama) C

This biopic film about Amelia Earhart mainly shows how she took her most groundbreaking flights and it explores her personal love life. The main focus of the film is on her flights which made the movie too drawn out. There were too many scenes and moments just showing her enjoying the flight and looking out the window. It would have been better if the movie focused primarily on her personal life and how she was able to become a pilot. The movie starts off with her already being a well know pilot, it does have a couple of flashbacks but they weren’t good enough. The film itself is shot beautifully and the actors are great, it’s just that there seemed to be a lack of story.
