127 Hours (R, Drama) C

This film is based on the true story of Aaron Ralston (James Franco) who became trapped by a boulder when he was hiking alone. Without the possibility of receiving any help he has to find a way to survive. While this is a very compelling story it didn’t translate well into a movie, there are too many scenes were we are shown what he is imagining and the use of loud music (which wasn’t bad music) to carry the story along made it seem to obvious that there wasn’t enough material here to make a film.
